German property lender Helaba has provided a €100 mln medium-term loan to developer AIG/Lincoln for the Galeria Sloneczna shopping centre in the central Polish city of Radom.

The transaction was closed in February 2015, with legal firm Hogan Lovells supporting Helaba.

The Polish market continues to show good financing opportunities with global clients like AIG/Lincoln and the bank is looking forward to doing more, Helaba said in a statement.

AIG/Lincoln Polska planned and developed Galeria Sloneczna. Opened in 2011, the mall is centrally located in Radom, 100 km south of Warsaw, and comprises a net lettable area of around 42.000 m2. Tenants include Zara, TK Maxx, H&M, Reserved, C&A and Multikino.

Galeria Sloneczna is part of a major master-planned development in Radom city centre being carried out by AIG/Lincoln Polska. It includes an aquapark, residential and office developments along with leisure and green areas, and children's playgrounds.

AIG/Lincoln is an international real estate development partnership between the real estate arm of US insurance giant AIG and Lincoln Property Company of Dallas, Texas.
