Helaba's head of real estate finance for France, Roland Fuchs is leaving the company at the end of September to join an unnamed global asset management group, PropertyEU has learned.
'I will start my new position at the beginning of October,' Fuchs confirmed to PropertyEU.
While Fuchs denied market rumours that he was joining AXA Real Estate, he said that he is taking on a pan-European mandate for a global firm.
He declined to disclose the name of the new company.
German Landesbank Helaba has been active in real estate lending in France since 1995. Fuchs joined Helaba in October 2008 as managing director of the new Paris office.
Fuchs, who has been active in pan-European real estate lending for 20 years, previously built up the origination activities in continental Europe for Westdeutsche Immobilienbank, including the origination office in Paris. In addition, he was global head of credit analysis for the entire international business of the bank.
