German landesbank Helaba has appointed Renaud Jézéquel to run its French real estate lending business.

German landesbank Helaba has appointed Renaud Jézéquel to run its French real estate lending business.

Jézéquel has over 25 years of banking, development and asset management experience, mostly in real estate.

He joins from hotel group Accor, where he was senior vice president in charge of M&A and real estate transactions since May 2011. Prior to this, Jézéquel was managing director at the Paris office of Hypo Real Estate (now pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank), in charge of property finance for domestic and cross-border transactions.

Until 2005, he worked in investment banking in London, successively for JP Morgan, GE Capital and Credit Suisse.
