Global real estate investment management firm, Heitman has expanded its Norwegian student housing platform with the acquisition of two assets, Studinen and SG 28, in Gjøvik. Financial details were not disclosed.

The purchase of Studinen and SG 28 adds 101 beds in total across two properties to Heitman’s portfolio.

This transaction follows the acquisition last month of Steinan Studentby in Trondheim.
 
Following the acquisition, the assets will become part of the Bo Coliving business, which was acquired by Heitman earlier this year. The platform owns and operates properties optimalized for coliving and tailored for students. Bo Coliving’s current portfolio consists of more than 1,800 rooms at across 55 properties in 14 Norwegian cities.
