Financial details were not disclosed.

G1 group has purchased the 12 Scottish pubs, Admiral Taverns bought 17 pubs in England and Wales, while the Seafood Pub Company closed on the Fleece in Addingham (pictured).

CBRE specialist markets advised Heineken on the sale, in a transaction heavily prescribed by CMA rules, the global real estate advisor said.

'We are delighted to have once again acted for Heineken in a complex process which illustrates not only the demand for high quality tenanted pubs, but also the clear strategic thinking we can bring to a complex process,' commented Simon Johnson, senior director, CBRE Specialist Markets.

This is the second time that CBRE Specialist Markets has assisted Heineken in a CMA process – the first being its purchase of 13 pubs from Greene King post the Spirit acquisition in 2015, which followed on from the successful sale of 111 pubs to Admiral Taverns in 2014.

This summer, in collaboration with Patron Capital, Heineken secured control of Punch Taverns and its real estate in a deal which valued the UK pub chain at £1.8 bn (€2 bn).
