Nordic residential property group Heimstaden has announced the appointment of Steen Lønberg Jørgensen as head of capital raising and client relations and member of group management.

Jørgensen comes from the position as partner and head of fund raising & IR at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).

During his seven years with CIP, he was instrumental in building a strong IR team across offices in Europe, North America, and APAC as well as in developing and raising CIP’s renewables funds. At CIP, he was in charge of raising above €15 bn for CIP’s five fund strategies from more than 125 institutional investors across 18 countries.

Heimstaden is the second largest residential real estate company in Europe with around 155,000 homes across ten countries, valued at SEK 342 bn (€32 bn). The company has raised more than SEK 60 bn in institutional capital during the last three years, enabling growth while strengthening the balance sheet and achieving a BBB rating.
