From October, Gerrit Sperling will take over management of Heimstaden Germany, according to the European residential specialist. Interim country manager Marianne Frønsdal will step into the role of deputy country manager.

Sperling brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the German real estate industry, including roles as managing director at BauBeCon, WVB Centuria, and the In-West Group.

His recent positions include head of transaction at ADO Properties and head of portfolio management/transaction at the Adler Group.

Heimstaden is the second largest residential real estate company in Europe with over 161,000 homes across ten countries. The company owns and manages almost 30,000 homes across Germany, with 98.8% real economic occupancy, and strong operational results.
