Hearthstone Investment Management, a property focused institutional investment manager, has appointed Andrew Tarbit as fund controller for its inaugural private equity property fund, Hearthstone Residential Fund 1 (HRF1).
Tarbit is now responsible for all financial reporting on HRF1 to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information to all investors in the fund.

As a qualified chartered accountant, Tarbit has worked within real estate finance and operations teams for over 10 years, most recently as fund accounting manager for Schroders in London, and previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has led teams with responsibility for core, middle office and auxiliary services, on behalf of funds with real estate assets totalling over £4 bn (€4.6 bn).
Fund
HRF1, a 10-year closed-end private equity vehicle is advised by Hearthstone Investment Management. In 2017, the fund held its first close receiving commitments of £100 mln from a cornerstone investor group of five local authority pension funds.
