Slovak development company HB Reavis has acquired the Metronom East development site in Prague from a group of private Austrian investors. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The 11,500-m2 site is zoned for the development of 34,000 m2 of office space and benefits from direct access to the Nove Butovice metro station.

Property adviser CBRE acted for the vendors.

'The site represents one of the few large scale development opportunities in Prague in an established office location with direct access to metro and highway networks,' commented Jan Hospodar, head of land and development opportunities at CBRE.

An ancillary site, referred to as Metronom West, is zoned for residential development and is being marketed by CBRE.
