German fund manager Hansainvest has acquired the ‘Dancing Towers’ office building in Hamburg from Austrian developer Strabag for around €165 mln.

German fund manager Hansainvest has acquired the ‘Dancing Towers’ office building in Hamburg from Austrian developer Strabag for around €165 mln.

The two towers - Tanzenden Türme in German – comprise 35,000 m2 of leasable area, including 30,000 m2 of pure office space.

The complex also includes a four-star Arcotel Onyx hotel which was bought at the beginning of the year by Deka for around €40 mln.

Located in Hamburg’s St Pauli district, the development received Gold LEED certification from the US Green Building Council in September 2012.
