German property fund manager Hannover Leasing said it has acquired an office building in Amstelveen near Amsterdam in the Netherlands for one of its closed-end property funds. The transaction price amounts to around EUR 19 mln. The property was bought from Dutch property development company MAB Development.

German property fund manager Hannover Leasing said it has acquired an office building in Amstelveen near Amsterdam in the Netherlands for one of its closed-end property funds. The transaction price amounts to around EUR 19 mln. The property was bought from Dutch property development company MAB Development.

The three-floor building located within Het Commerce Parc business park is rented out to clothing company Esprit and is expected to be completed in September 2011. The property provides approximately 5,700 m2 of space as well as 111 car parking spaces. Het Parc is a 50,000 m2 green business and commercial park developed by the Dutch real estate company south of Amsterdam.

Colliers International and law firm Loyens & Loeff advised Hannover Leasing.

Hannover Leasing, part of the Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale group, has around EUR 15.5 bn of assets under management across Europe.
