UK REIT Hammerson has put its landmark Les Trois Quartiers mixed-use property in Paris on the market for a price of around EUR 300 mln, according to well-informed sources. The company is believed to have hired adviser Jones Lang LaSalle to market the sale of the building located in the first arrondissement of Paris. Jones Lang LaSalle declined to comment on Monday while Hammerson was not available for comment.

The scheme provides 17,200 m2 of office space and 12,000 m2 of retail space. Major tenants include Barclays and Credit Suisse First Boston banks and law firm White and Case.

Hammerson is believed to have sought to put its entire French property arm up for sale last summer, but after failing to find a buyer decided to sell the individual asset.
