Hagen joins NREP to lead new Oslo office

Nordic Real Estate Partners (NREP) has recruited Jens Petter Hagen to head its new office in Oslo.

Hagen will build a local team of investment professionals covering Norway with the initial support of the pan-Nordic real estate fund manager's teams in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

He previously spent nine years working in London for global private equity firm Advent International, the last five years of which he focused on the Nordic market. In addition he has experience with investment banking in London and New York.

NREP has covered the Norwegian market for several years from its other Nordic offices, but the firm said it is now establishing a local team in order to be able to act on a 'growing number of niche opportunities in the Norwegian market'.

Since it was established in 2006, NREP has raised eight funds and executed over 170 property acquisitions and developments in the Nordic region, of which 80 have been exited. The firm focuses predominantly on logistics and currently has €2.2 bn of assets under management.
