Real estate developer Hagag Development Europe has appointed Andrea Mihai as CEO.
Mihai has been tasked with overseeing the company’s operations in Romania, coordinating development activity, drafting and overseeing the implementantion of the firm's short, medium and long term business plans and growing the existing business segments.
Yithzak Hagag, co-founder and shareholder of Hagag Development Europe, said: 'The decision to have Andreea Mihai on our team came at a time when the company finds itself in a continuous phase of growth and development. Her extensive experience in executive management complements our vision and the ambitious plans we have for Romania.'
Throughout her professional career, Mihai has worked in complex business ecosystems, optimized the growth premises for some of the largest top 10 international companies present on the Romanian market, including during the 2008 economic crisis, and actively participated in two important M&A transactions, from planning to completion.
Her appointment as the CEO of Hagag Development Europe comes as the company accelearates its investment programme, both in Bucharest and across other cities in the country.

With more than 20 years of experience in executive management, Mihai graduated the Romanian-French Executive MBA programme - a partnership between the National Institute of Economic Development - ASE and CNAM Paris.
She helds a Master's degree in Business Administration with the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (ASE), an academic degree issued by the Faculty of Economics and Social Administration within the University of Bordeaux Montesquieu IV (France), and is licensed in Business Management with Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (ASE).
