Jardines de Oriente will comprise 190 homes with one to three bedrooms and all services, while the communal areas will consist of gardens, swimming pools and a children's play area.

The company has already begun work on the complex, designed by the firm Buró 4 Arquitectos, which will feature a modern and functional architecture and spacious terraces.

Habitat Jardines de Oriente has also been awarded the Spatium Seal of Safe and Healthy Development, with a rating of "Exceptional", which recognises the health, safety and well-being features of the project.

José Carlos Saz, CEO of Habitat Inmobiliaria, said: ‘At Habitat Inmobiliaria we are particularly excited about the start of work on this development, which will be home to around 200 families and represents a new way of understanding housing in the city of Seville: sustainable, high quality and with spaces designed for the community.’

The mayor of Seville, Antonio Muñoz, added: ‘The collaboration of the City Council with Habitat Inmobiliaria to make this real estate development a reality and recalled that, in the last five years, more than 10,000 licences have been granted in Seville for new housing, which means that homes have been created for around 30,000 people in the city through projects that are in different phases of execution.’

Habitat Inmobiliaria recently acquired land in Seville for a 69-home development in the Triana neighbourhood, increasing its housing stock in the province to over 900 homes.
