Property adviser GVA has been appointed as the preferred marketing agent on the disposal of The Old War Office on behalf of the UK's Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).

The Old War Office, located at the junction of Horse Guards Avenue and Whitehall in central London, SW1, is an iconic building with significant importance in British history.

The building has been a major landmark for more than a century and played a key part in two world wars and the Cold War. Its’ previous famous occupiers are Lawrence of Arabia, Winston Churchill, Lloyd-George and John Profumo.
