Italy’s Gruppo della Frera has acquired the entire share capital of Venezia Capitol, which owns the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Venezia Mestre, for over €20 mln.
The investment was entirely supported with equity and marks the first step in the group's development in the Veneto region, where it was not yet present.
The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel consists of 136 rooms, a restaurant, a swimming pool and a large spa. It boasts a solid market performance with turnover exceeding €7.5 mln and over 40 employees.
The Gruppo Della Frera will maintain the current organization of the company, headed by the CEO Lucia Ercolano and the management of the hotel entrusted to Michela Murara.

The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel is located on the mainland near the Parco San Giuliano, within 8 kilometers of Marco Polo Airport and the cruise terminal, while the Old City is about 15 minutes away by car or bus.
