UK property company Grosvenor said on Monday it has signed a deal with two companies regarding the residential section of the £1 bn Liverpool one development. In a statement, Grosvenor said that housing and serviced apartment operator BridgeStreet Worldwide and investor Plus Dane group are to lease the five residential blocks embedded above the retail element of the retail scheme.

In a statement, Grosvenor said that housing and serviced apartment operator BridgeStreet Worldwide and investor Plus Dane group are to lease the five residential blocks embedded above the retail element of the retail scheme.

The 173 apartments above the retail centre will all be completed by the end of 2008, soon after the grand opening of Liverpool One scheduled for 1 October. Liverpool One also includes 326 apartments within the Cesar Pelli-designed One Park West which will complete spring 2009. The major development contains 160 retail units, a 14-screen Odeon cinema, 23,000 m2 of restaurants, cafés and bars, together with more than 600 new apartments, two hotels, offices and a park.
