Grosvenor Fund Management has appointed Giles Wintle as deputy managing director for Continental Europe. Wintle, who has 15 years experience in European real estate, joins from GIC Real Estate, where he oversaw the investment activity in France, Italy, Nordics, CEE and Russia.
Grosvenor Fund Management has appointed Giles Wintle as deputy managing director for Continental Europe. Wintle, who has 15 years experience in European real estate, joins from GIC Real Estate, where he oversaw the investment activity in France, Italy, Nordics, CEE and Russia.
Wintle will work alongside James Raynor, managing director, Continental Europe and chief investment officer, Grosvenor Fund Management and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business in Continental Europe, based in Paris.
Grosvenor Fund Management has carried out over EUR 500 mln of transactions in France, Sweden and Belgium so far this year. This includes the acquisition of a retail portfolio comprising six shopping centres across France and Sweden for the Grosvenor European Retail Partnership.
Wintle has previously worked for BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking in Paris and Jones Lang LaSalle in London and Paris.
