Originally developed in 2016 by Michael O’Flynn and BlackRock, Point Campus was sold to DWS Group in 2020. DWS Group, a Deutsche Bank subsidiary, acquired the property for an estimated €172 mln.

This 966-bed complex, featuring amenities like a gym, cinema, common room, and roof terrace, is fully occupied. It is located in the Dublin Docklands area, adjacent to the Point Square shopping centre and 3Arena venue, and near key Dublin landmarks.

Greystar’s European student housing platform, Canvas, will manage the property, retaining the existing on-site team.

Claire Solon, managing director of Greystar Ireland, said: ‘We are really excited to enter the student accommodation market here in Ireland. We believe the business is well positioned to respond to the undersupply of high quality and professionally managed accommodation, driven by strong ongoing demand from Irish and international students.’

Greystar is already a significant player in Dublin’s residential market, with ongoing projects at Dublin Landings and Griffith Woods, and recently launched Brickfield Square (Dublin 12), which now has available rental units.
