In this new position, Löwik will oversee GRESB’s business operations and manage the Amsterdam headquarters.

'Lonneke brings more than a decade of experience in the real estate and infrastructure sectors to GRESB,' said Nils Kok, CEO and co-founder GRESB.

Before joining GRESB, Löwik organized the launch of the Global Infrastructure Investor Association (GIIA), a lobbying organization for the infrastructure asset class. Prior to GIIA, Löwik was the director of research and market information, and later the director of professional standards at INREV, the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles.

At INREV, Löwik was responsible for a revision of the INREV guidelines, which included 18 months of industry consultation and engagement with more than 300 industry players and organisations across Europe, Asia and the US. Earlier in her career Löwik worked for Deutsche Bank.
