Sustainability body the Green Rating Alliance has announced its new executive board and enlarged board of directors following its annual meeting earlier this month.

This year has seen Invesco Real Estate and Valad join the non-profit association as members and both firms are now represented on the board of directors. Invesco’s senior director of asset management Neil Harris and Mark McLaughlin, Managing Director Benelux at Valad Europe, have joined the 10-strong board of directors.

The Executive Board for 2013 has also been confirmed. Christoph Wildgruber, head of sustainability at Allianz Real Estate, is the body’s new CEO, succeeding Eric Donnet of AEW Europe.

Wildgruber is joined on the executive board by new deputy CEO David Short of GE Capital Real Estate, new CFO Leo Weidenaar of CBRE Global Investors and incoming general secretary Gerard Biessy of Bureau Veritas SA.

Launched in March 2011, the non-profit association counts several leading real estate firms among its members, including AEW Europe, Allianz Real Estate, AXA Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors.
