Listed UK residential firm Grainger has appointed Tony Wray to its board as a non-executive director. Wray (49) has been the Chief Executive of FTSE 100 water company Severn Trent since 2007, prior to which he worked in senior management positions for British Gas and Transco.

He is currently an independent non-executive director of Energy and Utility Skills, the sector skills council, and is a member of the Business Advisory Board for Living with Environmental Change.
