Grainger, the UK’s largest quoted residential property owner and manager, has appointed Laure Duhot as director of strategic capital markets. In this role she will look to enhance shareholder value by generating additional income from new joint ventures, funds and strategic alliances.

Duhot joins Grainger from Pradera where she was head of equity raising and sat on the group’s executive board. She previously worked as head of international capital markets for Sunrise Senior Living and was appointed a non-executive director of Thames Valley Housing Association in 2003. She was one of the founding partners of Macquarie Capital Partners.

Grainger’s CEO Andrew Cunningham said Duhot’s appointment was aimed at building the company’s track record of creating and managing joint ventures, funds and strategic alliances to support its overall strategic objective of growing fee income.
