GPT Halverton, a pan-European fund and asset management business, has appointed David King to the new role of senior fund director. The firm said the appointment continued GPT Halverton's strategy of establishing a 'best-in-class' pan-European real estate investment management platform.

GPT Halverton, a pan-European fund and asset management business, has appointed David King to the new role of senior fund director. The firm said the appointment continued GPT Halverton's strategy of establishing a 'best-in-class' pan-European real estate investment management platform.

King joins GPT Halverton from Credit Suisse, where he held the position of director, Head of UK Real Estate managing a portfolio of over £850 mln (EUR 948 mln) for a number of UK and German based funds. King has over 20 years experience in funds management across the UK and Europe, with previous roles including Director, European Property at Henderson Global Investors and European Fund Manager at Axa REIM.

King will undertake a strategic role on the senior management team at GPT Halverton and will have overall responsibility for several of the industrial and office funds investing across Europe.
