Real estate investment manager GPT Halverton has acquired two fully let office properties in France’s Nantes region for approximately EUR 14mln. Nantes Chanterie is a multi-let office complex of two connected buildings comprising 6,500 m[sup]2[/sup] located 1 kilometre away from the A11 motorway connecting Nantes, Angers and Paris and 24 kilometres from Nantes Airport. The purchase was brokered by Adyal PM Ouest. Nantes Saint-Sebastien is a two-storey 2,500 m[sup]2[/sup] office building located on a 5,500 m[sup]2[/sup] site. The purchase was brokered by Arthur Loyd. The acquisitions put the company’s total assets under management in France at over EUR 130mln.

The company has also acquired a 5,100 m2 retail property in Rhineland-Palatinate for the German Retail Partnership fund (GRP) for EUR 6.9mln. The property is located in Germersheim, which is situated between Mannheim and Karlsruhe. Tenants include textile retailers Takko and Charles Vogele, footwear retailer Deichmann, leading drugstore retailer DM-Drogerie, and furniture retailer, Danisches Bettenlager.

Earlier this month the company acquired three Bavarian retail properties for GRP for a total EUR 10.48mln. The properties are located in Augsburg-Konigsbrunn, Dinkelsbuhl and Kemnath and comprise a total of 9,200 m2 of leasable area. Tenants of the three sites include DM-Drogerie, the fashion store AWG, Edeka and Penny supermarket.
