Logistics property giant Goodman has been mandated to develop a new cargo facility for DHL at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist of Deutsche Post DHL, has signed a long-term, pre-let agreement with Goodman for a new 16,000 m2 warehouse and office building for DHL’s air cargo activity.

DHL Global Forwarding plans to relocate all its air transit activities to the site by the end of 2014.

'In order to manage the significant growth of our air freight volumes, we decided to relocate to Paris CDG Airport in a new state-of-the art facility,' said Jean-Claude Levi, president of DHL Global Forwarding France.

Goodman will deliver the property in two phases, with the 12,000 m2 warehouse to be handed over by the end of August, while the 4,000 m2 of office space will be delivered by the end of 2014.
