Global property group Goodman has agreed to sell a plot of land at its Birmingham Business Park to Aero Engine Controls, the joint venture between Rolls-Royce plc and Goodrich Corporation.
Global property group Goodman has agreed to sell a plot of land at its Birmingham Business Park to Aero Engine Controls, the joint venture between Rolls-Royce plc and Goodrich Corporation.
The parties have agreed the sale of a 10-hectare site on the business park for an undisclosed sum. The sale is conditional upon board and planning approval.
Aero Engine Controls, currently based at Hall Green in Birmingham, has earmarked the site to develop a new 250,000 sq ft headquarters, design, development, manufacturing, qualification and R&D facility, with associated expansion space.
Goodman was represented by GVA Grimley and Strutt & Parker.
Aero Engine Controls was advised by Corporate Property Advisers who have been further retained as project managers. The extended project team has been appointed and includes Maber Associates, Davis Langdon, Arup and Ancer Spa.
