Goodman Group has gained planning consent for a Grade A logistics building in the UK.

The international logistics specialist said the 38,400 m2 facility will be located within the established Centrum 100 Business Park in Burton-on-Trent in the UK's West Midlands.

Goodman is now marketing the new logistics property and will develop it on a pre-let basis to bespoke customer requirements. CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and North Rae Sanders are agents for the scheme.

Sydney-listed Goodman heads PropertyEU's 2013 ranking of Top European developers for the second year running.

The ranking is based on completed projects between 2010 and 2012. Goodman completed just under 1.6 million m2 during that period compared to 860,000 m2 by the number two in the ranking, Panattoni Europe.
