Logistics property giant Goodman has launched its flagship development project in Poland, the Pomeranian Logistics Centre.

Located adjacent to the Gdañsk Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT), it is the largest logistics hub of its kind in northern Poland. When completed, it will feature some 500,000 m2 of high-quality warehouse and light industrial space. Construction of the first facility, a 14,000-m2 warehouse, commenced in September 2012, with delivery planned for the end of Q1 2013.

The total value of the project is estimated to exceed EUR 300 mln on completion.

Goodman's centre provides an opportunity to develop up to 500,000 m2 of logistics warehousing and production facilities with integrated office space. Both the entire logistics park as well as individual facilities will be managed by Goodman's in-house team of property managers.

The Pomeranian logistics centre is just 23 km from the Lech Wa³êsa airport in Gdañsk, Poland's second largest airport, serving both domestic and international flights.
