Austrian logistics developer Go Asset has completed the largest unit at its Adria logistics centre in Sežana, Slovenia, and handed it over to German retailer Tedi.

The €50 mln facility, which will enter into operation in early 2024, extends over six hectares and spans 62,000 m2.

The building stands on land near the former Fernetici border crossing between Slovenia and Italy, which Go Asset bought from the former Bank Claims Management Company.

German non-food retailer Tedi intends to carry out logistics and distribution activities for Central and Southeastern Europe through the Port of Koper and the Sežana logistics centre.

Two more large buildings will be built on around 33 hectares of land, and they will be rented to multiple tenants.

Once completed, the Adria Log Centre will offer 120,000 m2 of A class warehouse and/or industrial space.

The location is in close vicinity to railway and the Fernetti intermodal train terminal and offers easy connection to the European highway network, with two direct highway exits linked to E60 and E71.

This makes the logistics park an ideal distribution hub for Slovenian, international and trans-continental logistics providers, end-users, automotive manufacturers and suppliers as well as e-commerce companies.

Besides Slovenia, Go Asset is also developing logistics projects in Austria and Slovakia.
