London-listed Romanian property specialist Globalworth has closed the acquisition of the first part of Skanska’s Green Court Bucharest project for around €42 mln.
Green Court Building A, the Swedish construction giant’s first Romanian project, has a leasable area of 19,500 m2 and is fully let with Schneider Electric Romania and Orange Romania as the main tenants.
Globalworth said it had acquired 100% of the shares of SPC Beta Property Development Company s.r.l., the owner of the A-class office property, in a transaction with Skanska paid for out of existing cash resources.
Green Court Building A is close to Globalworth’s existing Bucharest One development and on the same street as the Nusco Tower, which the company acquired in December for €50 mln, and the Gara Herastrau development.
