An Irish investor has concluded the purchase of the Forge Shopping Centre in Glasgow from the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund for just under £138 mln (EUR 204 mln). The sale represents an initial yield of 4.85%.

An Irish investor has concluded the purchase of the Forge Shopping Centre in Glasgow from the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund for just under £138 mln (EUR 204 mln). The sale represents an initial yield of 4.85%.

The 41,000 m2 centre, next to Parkhead football stadium, is home to one of the largest Asda supermarkets in Scotland, as well as a seven-screen cinema. Other tenants include Dunnes Stores, H&M Hennes, River Island, Bon Marche, New Look and WH Smiths. CBRE advised Grosvenor and BTWShiells advised the buyer.
