The Grounds Real Estate Development, a residential housing developer and investor listed on the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange, has apppointed Thomas Schäfer-Aabakke as head of corporate finance & accounting.
In prior roles, Schäfer-Aabakke spent several years with Accentro Real Estate, initially as consultant for group accounting, before becoming head of corporate finance and eventually being made an authorised signatory in January of 2019.
Before joining Accentro, he spent several years with KPMG AG Auditors, working in the areas of auditing and management consultancy and there focusing on real estate companies.
