German lender Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided €20 mln to upgrade a hospital in Lyon.

The loan will be used to finance the construction of a new building to accommodate the hospital's adult psychiatry disciplines.

The transaction closed on 6 December 2012.

Centre Hospitalier le Vinatier is a hospital for the treatment of mental health conditions. The renovation project aims to preserve the historical heritage of the hospital while modernising its facilities. It will include measures to improve the environmental impact of the building.
