German asset manager Patrizia Immobilien is strengthening its activities in Paris with the hire of Alexis Bui as director Investments France and Belgium, reporting to managing directors Bruno Cohen and Silvio Estienne.
German asset manager Patrizia Immobilien is strengthening its activities in Paris with the hire of Alexis Bui as director Investments France and Belgium, reporting to managing directors Bruno Cohen and Silvio Estienne.
Before joining Patrizia, Bui spent 10 years at AEW Europe London (previously known as Curzon Global Partners) where he was Investment director, in charge mainly of value-add acquisitions in France, Belgium and Central Europe.
Previously, he worked for CDC Ixis Capital Markets and JP Morgan in London in mergers and acquisitions (both in the real estate and the non real estate sectors).
Duisburg-based Patrizia expanded its business to France earlier this year with the appointment of Cohen and Estienne, both former heads at ING REIM.
The move was part of Patrizia's strategy to gain a strengthen its -European presence.
PropertyEU reported earlier this month that the asset manager is also looking to take over a local team in Spain and has recently opened office in the Netherlands with the hiring of Gaston Hupkens and Peter Helfrich.
Last year Patrizia entered the UK with the purchase of London-based real estate investment and asset management company Tamar Capital Group. The company also has a presence in Luxembourg and the Nordics, including Denmark and Sweden.
