Private German retailer Globus has acquired a land plot in the Moscow region for RUB 755 mln (EUR 19 mln). Located on a former industrial area in Korolyov, the land totals 11.2 hectare where Globus is planning to build a hypermarket.

Private German retailer Globus has acquired a land plot in the Moscow region for RUB 755 mln (EUR 19 mln). Located on a former industrial area in Korolyov, the land totals 11.2 hectare where Globus is planning to build a hypermarket.

Globus has hypermarkets in Germany, Czech Republic and Russia. Currently, the international retailer is actively developing its presence in Russia with five hypermarkets in different cities.

The vendor is PIK Group, a London-listed Russian residential property developer.
