Insurer Generali's real estate asset management arm has announced the appointment of its Belgian and Dutch business' director Olivier Terrenoire as head of a new EMEA team created to coordinate operations in the region.
Insurer Generali's real estate asset management arm has announced the appointment of its Belgian and Dutch business' director Olivier Terrenoire as head of a new EMEA team created to coordinate operations in the region.
Terrenoire, who will report directly to GRE's CEO Christian Delaire, will be responsible for operations in Austria, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland.
'We decided to reshape our structure in order to better support the implementation of our real estate business in what has always been a very important region for us,' commented Delaire.
In addition, GRE announced the hiring of Joris De Roo to manage the investment, sales and asset management activities in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In his new role, De Roo will be in charge of the asset and property management of the current Benelux portfolio, and responsible for its development and expansion. He will report to Terrenoire as well as to Anthony Butler, GRE's global head of corporate finance, on the investments transactions.
