Paris-listed REIT Gecina is hiring Valérie Britay, a managing director at French peer Unibail-Rodamco, to lead its €9.4 bn office division.
Britay will be joining Gecina in summer 2017 as the executive director of the office division.
She has been with Unibail-Rodamco since 2005, serving as commercial director then deputy managing director of the office division, before being appointed managing director retail France.
Gecina is a leading office real estate group in France, with the sector accounting for 78% of the company's €12.1 bn real estate portfolio at end-2016. The remaining 22% of the portfolio is diversified between residential and student housing. All but 3% of the overall holdings is located in the Paris region.
