Gecina said on Thursday it had finalised the acquisition of three logistics platforms from electrical equipment distributor Rexel Group, under the conditions laid down in an agreement signed in March of this year. The French logistics assets, located in Lyons , Nantes and Toulouse, have a total surface area of 48,500 m[sup]2[/sup]. The sale-and-leaseback deal is the second with Rexel, following the acquisition of four logistics platforms announced in April.

The two deals represent a combined total investment of over EUR 62mln, and cover 125,000 m2 of space. Gecina was advised by notary firm Wargny 1 Katz et Associés and law firms De Pardieu Brocas Mafféi, Bredin Prat and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre.
