French property company Gecina said it is acquiring three logistics and industrial assets in the Paris region with a combined surface area of 20,814 m[sup]2[/sup]. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Gecina said the portfolio is fully leased to leading companies under long-term contracts and all assets are within the immediate vicinity of major highways.

The first property is a freight platform located in Trappes to the west of Paris in the new town Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. With a surface area of 8,045 m2, it was completely refurbished in 2006. The second transaction involves a 5,329-m2 industrial and office complex in Villenueve-la-Garenne built in 1989. Lastly, Gecina is purchasing 7,440 m2 of primarily warehouse space in Morangis that was refurbished earlier this year.
