Logistics developer-investor Gazeley has acquired a 130.000 m² distribution scheme in Zevenaar in the eastern Netherlands.
The facility, to be built on a 19 hectare-sire in BusinessPark 7Poort, was acquired for an undisclosed sum from the developers, a joint venture between Solidiam, Mobion en 3B Group.
The complex will comprise five warehouses which can be leased to multiple logistics providers and which is due for completion at end-2020. The development is located next to the A12 motorway close to the German border.
Gazeley, which is owned by Singapore-listed Global Logistics Properties (GLP), opened an office in Amsterdam last year and previously purchased distribution centres in the eastern Dutch cities of Venlo and Venray.
