Global logistics developer Gazeley has reached an agreement with Ceva Logistics for the development and leasing of a logistics facility of 56,000 m[sup]2[/sup] in Ontigola, Southern Madrid. Gazeley said that it will look for a 100,000 m[sup]2[/sup] plot of land where it will be building the property. The first stage of development is due for completion in the first quarter of 2009, with final construction to be completed at the end of 2009.

The development will involve an investment of around EUR 30 mln. José de la Calle, managing director of Gazeley's Spanish business, said: 'Adding to the logistics property in Ontigola, Gazeley has reached other deals with Ceva Logistics in Dubai and France, for a total development of 133,000 m2 of logistics space.
In Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone park Gazeley will build two facilities of 12,000 m2 and 60,000 m2 respectively. In France, the group has leased a facility in its Magna Park en Fos in Marseille.
Since the company entered Spain in 2006, it has developed facilities for several clients including DHL, Eroski, Carrefour and Kuehne & Nagel.
