The funding supports Sedco's acquisition of Blakelands Industrial Estate, a multi-let industrial estate in the English town of Milton Keynes.
Palmer Capital has been appointed as investment manager for Sedco Capital to deploy £100 mln into the UK's recovering office and industrial real estate markets over the next 12 months. 'We have been an active investor in UK property for a number of years and are looking to increase our holdings by pursuing a diversified real estate strategy,' a Sedco spokesperson said.
Sedco is an independent investment manager with about €2.7 bn of assets under management. Its services are aimed at ultra high-net-worth individuals, Institutional clients such as banks, asset managers, family offices and pension & sovereign funds.
