Gatehouse Bank, a London-based investment bank specialising in Shariah-compliant products and services, has announced the promotion of Will Innes to vice president within the real estate investment team.
Innes has over seven years’ experience working in real estate investment both on the principal and advisory side. He has spent a portion of his career in Abu Dhabi working for Aldar Properties, and most recently at Waypoint Capital where he was responsible for developing its international private equity real estate platform.
Since joining Gatehouse in January 2014, he has played a key role in numerous transactions, including the venture with Sigma Capital to support the roll-out of a £1 bn portfolio of 10,000 new rental homes and the purchase of a 30,000 m2 logistics property in the English town of Doncaster.
Working alongside Will Lowndes, vice president of real estate Investment, Innes will be responsible for sourcing and originating real estate transactions across the UK and continental Europe.
