Living sector investment specialist Gatehouse Living Group has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of James Sermecanic as Group finance director.
With over 25 years of corporate finance experience in real estate, Sermecanic brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. Most recently, he served as co-founder and CFO of RCVP Retirement Living, a senior living developer successfully sold in 2023. Prior to this, he ran a financial advisory firm specializing in real estate financing for corporate clients.
Sermecanic will oversee the financial operations of Gatehouse Living Group, leveraging his expertise to drive growth within existing platforms and secure new ventures in the living sector.
Gatehouse Living Group is a full-service residential real estate company that combines investment and property management under one roof. The group comprises Gatehouse Investment Management, which has successfully established four institutional single-family rental platforms, and Ascend, a property management firm overseeing more than 10,000 rental homes nationwide.
