Fundamenta Group Deutschland, the subsidiary of Swiss asset manager Fundamenta Group Holding, has purchased seven residential portfolios for €52.6 mln. The vendor was not named.
The 401 apartments and seven commercial properties were purchased for the open-ended fund FG Wohninvest Deutschland.
They are located in Hanover, Dresden and Leipzig as well as in the metropolitan regions of Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne and Berlin.
The most recent transaction brings the fund's expenditure in the last seven months to €125 mln. The Swiss investor said it intended to raise investment capital for further purchases in Germany shortly.
According to CEO Christian Paul, the asset manager is also planning new investment products for German and international investors.
