IT infrastructure provider Fujitsu Technology Solutions, has relocated from Bad Homburg to Frankfurt. Represented by international real estate adviser Savills, the company has secured 7,500 m2 office space at Astro Park in Bürostadt Niederrad.
The second largest subsidiary of Fujitsu Technology Solutions in Germany will occupy the building from ground to seventh floor following its move from its current offices at Rathausplatz 3-7 in Bad Homburg v.d. Höhe, which is scheduled in 2011. In addition to Fujitsu Technology Solutions move, Astro Park will also accommodate a further two subsidiaries of the Fujitsu group, TDS and Fujitsu Services.
Astro Park is located at Lyoner Strasse 9, close to the city centre of Frankfurt. The building comprises three wings with a total area of some 38,000 m2 as well as 300 underground parking spaces. The complex provides modern office space with flexible room structure, technical facilities and inner courtyards.
Marco Mallucci, director and head of Savills office agency in Frankfurt, said: 'Fujitsu's relocation is a positive sign for Niederrad as an office location but even more for Frankfurt as a business location. This transaction concludes that companies are once again willing to relocate to the city if the conditions and the property are right.'
