Société de la Tour Eiffel, which is currently 90% owned by mutual insurer SMABTP, has appointed Philippe Lemoine as new CEO to succeed Renaud Haberkorn.
Lemoine has a long standing experience in the real estate sector, having previously been managing director of business park firm Silic (now part of French REIT Icade) between 2010 and 2013.
STE has also named Hubert Rodarie as chairman and five new members of the board, Bernard Milléquant, Agnès Auberty, Marie Wiedmer-Brouder (independent member), Didier Ridoret, and Patrick Bernasconi.
The appointments reflect the change in governance linked to the successful tender offer achieved by SMABTP last month.
SMABTP currently owns 5.6 milllion STE shares, representing 89.88% of the company's share capital and voting rights. During the first seven months of 2014 SMABTP battled with French-Vietnamese investor Chuc Hoang for control of STE.
