They leverage the extensive experience of their sponsor, Fredensborg (with over 30 years in the industry), and its affiliate Heimstaden, which manages 162,000 homes across nine European countries, valued at €30 bn.

Heim boasts a well-established team with deep local knowledge across key European markets. They cater to institutional investors by offering private market funds focused on the European living sector, addressing the housing needs in growing cities with high demand and limited new supply.

Heim has established a closed-end UK residential build-to-core fund seeking £800 mln (€937 mln) in commitments, targeting a first closing by mid-2024.

It will also offer a closed-end Northern European residential development fund aiming to raise €750 mln in commitments, with an expected first closing in the second half of 2024.

Heim Global Investor’s CIO Andreas Oulie commented:  ‘With the launch of Heim, we are introducing a uniquely positioned specialist fund manager building on an experienced team at Heimstaden, renowned for consistently delivering great results to investors. We start out with establishing two related fund strategies driven by specific investor demand and market opportunity. These funds will provide institutional investors access to UK and Northern Europe residential real estate managed with industrial scale and skills.’

Heim operates within a group with expertise in fund & investment management, development, asset management, and operations. They focus solely on Alternative Investment Funds, complementing Heimstaden's role as owner and operator within Heimstaden Bostad. Heim functions as a separate and independent fund manager.
